A company that engages in providing goods and services to farmers and producers. Services include the buying and selling of agriculture inputs and grain.

An employee of an Agribusiness Company who purchases and sells grain as a commodity. Based on the market, which fluctuates based on supply and demand, they decide when to buy grain, then store it or process it until it is an ideal time to sell.

An individual farmer or a farm business that cultivates land, crops, or raises animals.

An identity or account created within an ERP or other Data Source with which the Agribusiness conducts business with. Producers and Accounts have a many-to-many relationship within Bushel with Producers often associated with multiple Accounts within a Data Source and an Account is frequently associated with multiple Producers. An Account is the fundamental and most fine-grained element for determining ownership of Tickets, Settlements, and other objects within Bushel.

The act of Bushel querying and receiving data from a non-Bushel data source.

The act of sending data to Bushel that is initiated by the sending party.

An individual collection of data that has an integration with Bushel such as an ERP database. An Agribusiness with mulitiple ERPs will have multiple data sources within Bushel.

See Location. Within Bushel, 'Elevator' is a legacy term that is synonymous and interchangeable with Location.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) refers to a type of software that organizations use to manage day-to-day business activities such as accounting, procurement, project management, risk management and compliance, and supply chain operations.

A disctinct physical location of an Agribusiness. An Agribusiness will often have multiple Locations which may include delivery and receiving terminals, elevators, and mills.
